Stick a fork in it – what’s left of the Google Cache operator is now officially dead. Google retired the link to the cache results earlier this year.

When you now try to access the cache operator directly, it no longer works. This upset a lot of SEOs, but there are alternatives like the Wayback Machine, the URL inspection tool and the rich results test.

Farewell, cache operator. You will be missed.
